about
Recorded and mixed by Steve Albini at Electrical Audio (the house on Francisco) in Chicago IL c. March 1997. Recorded as part of the "Watertown" sessions, just didn't quite get it right.
The basic lyrical idea comes from a town that was so small that it decided to have a parade by having all the "marchers" remain in place and allowing the crowd to walk through the positioned paraders. It made all the sense in the world, and it is a good lesson to keep in mind.
Smooth, sophisticated pop with neoclassical flourishes from the Berlin-based duo of Fabian Till and Birk Buttcherey. Bandcamp New & Notable May 2, 2024
